In order to understand a Multicast message, it is necessary to know the structure of the following messages:

  1. Instrument catalogs: This section contains the descriptive instrument information. (ticker, ISIN, PPP, Type of value, etc.)
  2. Application Messages: These messages indicate the instrument activity during the auction. (Status changes, sending orders, trades, etc.)

To identify the Issuer (ticker, ISIN, PPP, Type of value, etc.) in any of the messages, a relationship must be made between the instrument number field, located in each of the messages, against the same field located in the different catalogs. The instrument number located in each catalog is unique per instrument and there may be instruments that are in different catalogs, respecting the previous conditional.
