Protocol
INTRA Multicast sends information from a source to several subscribers, it uses PIM protocol (Protocol Independent Multicast) in Sparce mode with static routing. For more detail, you can consult this website: PIM Sparse Mode (PIM-SM).
Instrument ID
To associate the movements over one share it is used an Instrument ID, the ID is associated with a specific one Issuer, Series and Type of Value. However, not use the ID as primary key due it may vary because of an internal instruction or by changes in its features.

Band Width
Band Width depends on how many products do you have (more products more Band Width) and if you act as a service facilitator, you must consider how many products and customers you will connect. In the next table, there is an estimate of Band Width by each product:

Connectivity Test
There are many ways to make connectivity tests on the Multicast environment, the next one is only one of these using the Multicast Hammer tool.
Multicast Hammer Configuration
Client Mode
- Select the NIC that you will use.
- Put the IP address of the first channel or product (You can consult the IP addresses in the specification)
- Put the number of groups
- Put the Port UDP as the same to FEED A as FEED B (This information is in the specification as well)
Press the START button to join the groups that you have available.
